Winnow helps you clean up your iPhone photo library entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or share any of your data.
Information We Collect
None. Winnow does not collect personal information: no account or sign-up, no analytics or tracking, no advertising, and no network requests to us or any third party.
Photo Library Access
Winnow asks for permission to access your photo library so it can find duplicates, identify large videos, let you preview items, and delete the ones you choose. This happens entirely on your device — your photos are never uploaded. Deleting uses Apple's Photos system, which moves items to Recently Deleted (restorable for 30 days).
On-Device Processing
Winnow uses Apple's on-device technologies (such as the Vision framework) to detect duplicates and assess quality. All analysis runs locally on your iPhone.
Purchases
Winnow offers an optional one-time purchase (Winnow Pro). Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details or Apple Account information.
Data Stored on Your Device
Winnow keeps a small amount of information on your device only — your settings and a counter of space you've cleaned. It never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the app.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data, because we do not collect any. There are no third-party services embedded in Winnow.
Children's Privacy
Winnow does not collect data from anyone, including children, and is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
